Helichrysum Essential Oil Aromatics: Helichrysum has been described as having a dry, spicy scent as well as the sweet, musty scent of roasted sugar / Middle note / Medium aroma
Blends well with the following: Chamomile, Lavender, Clary Sage, Rose, Clove Bud and any of the oils from the citrus oil family.
Helichrysum has silver-gray, grassy foliage with a collection of golden flowers at the top, which blossom in mid-summer. The colour of the flowers lasts long after they have been picked and dried. Its name is derived from the Greek words ‘Helios’ meaning ‘Sun’ and ‘Chrysos’ meaning ‘Gold’. Helichrysum has been used since the time of the ancient Greeks, who often used it after battles.
